Black Stripe Theater is a team of independent artists, performers and technicians based in Tokyo, Japan.
BST debuted with Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter/Victoria Station in the summer of 2007. The show’s success has fueled high expectations for the upcoming BST production of Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Glengarry Glen Ross!
Directed by Chris Parham, the 2008 season was started with David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross. A strong cast led by Walter Roberts as Levene and Justin Berti as Roma (click here for cast and crew bios) helped make this show a runaway hit.
